2013 election is fast approaching. And one of the lawmakers who will bid for another term in public office is Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero . He will run for 2nd term.
Did he create bills for the sake of Filipino people? Why he publicly confessed that he had a relationship with actress Heart Evangelista?
Currently, he's the Chaiman on Justice and Human Rights, Joint Oversight Committees on Ecological Solid Waste Management Act, Joint Congressional Oversight Committee on the Clean Air Act, and Committee on Environment and Natural Resources.
He authored Sugarcane Bill. He and Negros Occidental Representative Albee Benitez to ratify the said law. He also signed the recently passed Anti Cyber Crime Law.
He also the author of Defining and Penalizing Enforced or Involuntary Disappearance Act which defined in the bill as “the arrest, detention, abduction or any other form of deprivation of liberty committed by agents of the State or by persons or groups of persons acting with authorization or support from the State, followed by a refusal to acknowledge the deprivation of liberty or by concealment of the fate or whereabouts of the disappeared.”
When the news about his relationship with Heart Evangelista few weeks ago, There are some speculations that she is using Chiz.
I think it's an election gimmick, because he wanted to be famous so that he will get many voters.
