There are some reports that Korean rapper Psy will be having a concert in Manila few days before Christmas.

According to Inquirer.net's article citing that"sources in direct contact with the show's promoter," "Gangnam Style" hitmaker will perform at the SM Mall of Asia open grounds in Pasay City on December 21, Friday.

Meanwhile, in the same report said that he was previously scheduled on November 29, but did not push through "due to conflicts in the artist's schedule."

He rose to fame after the music video for his dance track "Gangnam Style" went viral online. It is now the most viewed video on YouTube, with over 877 million hits.

The said video, which was uploaded on YouTube last Julywhich it became a phenomenal hit worldwide, including the Philippines.

Madonna danced "Gangnam Style" with Psy

Korean rapper Psy surprised Madonna’s fans in New York City as he joined on stage at the Madison Square Garden and danced the infectious tune of “Gangnam Style.”

It started as splice of Madonna’s “Give It To Me” with the beats of the Korean hit. Suddenly turned into a “Gangnam” dance frenzy, Psy went onstage in his trademark shades and red suit.

Psy stayed on to join Madonna in her hit “Music.”

Psy delivered his speech at Oxford University

Korean rapper Psy as he took "Gangnam Style" to one of England's prestigious school, Oxford University.

They invited him to speak about his worldwide fame as a result of his song.



With an audience of 300 people, he said that he was very shocked and stunned when his song went viral worldwide.

On his 80-minute speech, he also taught the audience his famous horse-riding dance.He will release a new album, which he will have songs in English and in Korean early next year.



He will be performing at the MTV Music Video Awards that will be held on November 11 in Germany.
